Job summary

System One in Tulsa is seeking an Accounting Systems Manager to lead the GL systems and related accounting processes. This direct-hire, on-site role partners with Accounting, Finance, and IT to optimize controls and close efficiency.

The incumbent will drive improvements, support month-end close, and lead testing for system upgrades while ensuring SOX controls and internal audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial systems, financial reporting, and/or process improvement experience.
• ERP experience required; SOX exposure preferred.

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for an Accounting Systems Manager. The successful candidate will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise. This is a direct-hire, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional owner of general ledger systems and related accounting processes, partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, and IT
• Drive process improvements and automation to strengthen controls and increase close efficiency
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close by ensuring system integrations, workflows, and reconciliations run accurately
• Lead user acceptance testing and implementation support for system upgrades/enhancements impacting GL and financial reporting
• Support internal controls and audit requests by maintaining documentation and assisting with testing and issue remediation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, financial reporting, and/or process improvement (including close support)
• ERP experience required (experience with modern ERP platforms strongly preferred)
• Experience working with internal controls in a regulated environment (SOX exposure preferred)
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills; able to influence stakeholders without direct authority

Salary: $105,000 - $135,000
