The Accounting Systems & Innovation Manager will provide leadership and expertise of the functional and technical areas in the Office of Finance. Primary duties include analyzing and interpreting complex financial and/or operational issues, developing technological processes to support departmental and University success, identification and implementation of improvements to, training on, and back up for the Cardinal reconciliation process, and special projects. This position will also serve as a liaison between IT and the Office of Finance, identifying areas of need in the department, partnering with IT to request new or ensure the accuracy of existing reports, regularly auditing reports for accuracy. This position is also responsible for analyzing and providing technical support for accounting functionality, managing an operational efficiency program, and ensuring the technical training of staff.
