The Living Company (TLC) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the day-to-day accounting for a TLC operating company and supervise the accounts receivable and payable staff. You will ensure a timely monthly close, maintain strong controls, and translate financial results for leadership.

You will standardize accounting policies across entities, support auditors, and oversee WIP and revenue recognition. This role offers a clear path to multi-site accounting leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1+ year supervising accounting or AR/AP staff.
• Strong command of debits/credits and reconciliations.
• WIP and ASC 606 revenue recognition knowledge.
• Ability to explain financial data to non-finance leaders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of AI tools (Claude) welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly close with consistent timelines and policies.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support.
• Apply WIP and ASC 606 principles to project-based activity.
• Standardize policies and internal controls; escalate gaps to Controller.
• Communicate results clearly to operators in plain language.
• Supervise AR/AP staff; manage workload and training.
• Develop SOPs to ensure auditable, turnover-resilient processes.
• Assist in variance analysis and ad hoc reporting.
