Role Overview
The Accounting Supervisor is the day-to-day accounting lead for an assigned TLC operating company, sitting between the accounting staff and the Corporate Controller. The role is accountable for an accurate, on-time monthly close and for reporting leadership can understand and act on.
This position directly supervises the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff, setting priorities, training the team, and keeping documented procedures current so the work is consistent, auditable, and resilient to turnover.
The Accounting Supervisor also strengthens internal controls, supports standardization of accounting policies across TLC's entities, and serves as the point of contact for internal and external auditors. Because much of TLC's work is project-based, a working knowledge of WIP and revenue recognition under ASC 606 is essential.
