Job summary

Ledgent is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for an on-site role in the East Valley. The position leads a small accounting team and oversees daily operations, including AP, AR, cash management, and general ledger tasks.

The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP within a stable, multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory exposure and ERP system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment.
• CPA or CPA-track is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, cash management, and general ledger activities.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax and compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and help strengthen internal controls.
• Participate in special projects and system enhancements as needed.
