Job summary

Kls-Martin-Group is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely close processes. The role supervises team members, reviews journal entries, reconciliations and schedules, and supports the preparation of financial statements.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will strengthen controls, develop staff capabilities and serve as the first level of review for routine matters while escalating complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• Three+ years of progressive accounting experience, with general ledger and close exposure.
• Experience with multi-entity environments; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual close activities to meet deadlines.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare journal entries and analyses for complex or judgmental accounts.
• Assist with intercompany accounting, fixed assets, accruals and audits.
