Job summary

Professional Search Group is seeking a hands-on accounting leader to own the general ledger and month-end close, while guiding a team. You’ll ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance, oversee reconciliations, and drive monthly reporting to the parent company in a hybrid environment.

The role demands 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred). CPA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile monthly sales and booking reports for complete revenue reporting.
• Calculate and record quarterly reserves including warranties and returns.
• Oversee monthly commission calculations for ~20 sales managers (global/domestic).
• Prepare monthly reporting to the parent company.
• Calculate and remit sales tax across multiple states.
• Drive timely financial and non-financial reporting across the department.
• Partner cross-functionally to gather close-required information.
• Lead audit support, including PBCs and driving completion.
• Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves.

• Drive accurate, timely financial and non‑financial reporting across the department
• Partner cross‑functionally with teams throughout the organization to gather what's needed for close
• Lead support for annual audits, including preparing PBCs and helping drive them to completion
• Take on additional responsibilities as the role and function evolve

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP
• CPA license preferred, not required
• Strong Excel skills and excellent ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
