What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and lead the entire accounting function — AP, AR, GL, payroll, and cost accounting
• Drive the month-end close and deliver clean, timely financials
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (GAAP) and partner with leadership on insights
• Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting support
• Manage project/job costing and profitability tracking
• Build and enhance processes, controls, and systems as the company continues to grow
• Partner closely with operations on performance, margins, and decision-making
• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing accounting team
• Manage external relationships including auditors and tax advisors

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience leading and developing a team
• Strong foundation in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
• Background in a project-based or cost-driven environment (construction, real estate, manufacturing, engineering, or similar)
• Experience with job costing, cost accounting, or revenue recognition
• Comfortable being hands‑on while also leading
• Systems‑savvy (ERP experience like Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
• Someone who is sharp, proactive, and enjoys building/improving things
