The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, a track record of mentoring others, and a proven ability to streamline operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, reconciliations, treasury activities, fixed assets, and prepaid accounts.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Review accounting transactions and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Support audits, financial reporting, and internal control processes.
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, reconciliations, treasury activities, fixed assets, and prepaid accounts
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members
• Review accounting transactions and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Support audits, financial reporting, and internal control processes
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements
• Partner cross-functionally to solve problems and streamline processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting operations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Healthcare, multi-site, or private equity-backed company experience is a plus
