Clarity Care, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This role supports day-to-day operations and may participate in cross-training within the Accounting Department.

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent experience, strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred, or Technical Degree in Accounting and equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage Paycom Expense Management: ensure accurate setup, verify uploaded information, assist users with training and ongoing questions.
• Complete various account reconciliations, including credit card reconciliations.
• Review and process invoices or statements: assign correct account numbers, confirm proper documentation, and route to the appropriate division.
• Maintain electronic, paperless records using the organization’s accounting software.
• Support monthly and yearly close processes, including preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and update W-9s and annual 1099s.
• Assist with audits, budgeting, and other accounting projects as assigned.

The Accounts Payable Specialist supports the day-to day operations of the Accounting Department. This position may be required to participate in cross training in the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred, or Technical Degree in Accounting and equivalent experience.
• Possess advanced computer and telecommunication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
• An energetic, outgoing, detail-oriented person who demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with and under the direction and supervision of a variety of persons including coordination staff, vendors, consumers, etc.
• Must pass periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
