Job summary

Condux International Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the Accounting department with customer and vendor records, billing, invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and period-end processes.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, posting payments, handling accounts reconciliation, and assisting with tax reporting and audits, while ensuring internal controls and documentation are maintained.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Prior accounts receivable and accounts payable experience with invoicing, cash application, vendor invoice processing, and reconciliation.
• Experience collecting with a professional, customer-friendly demeanor.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts, GAAP, internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 proficiency.
• Experience in an ERP system and with month-end/year-end close processes.
• Self-directed with initiative, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and related billing docs.
• Post customer payments, apply cash, and research unapplied/misapplied payments.
• Monitor AR aging, follow up on past due balances, assist collections.
• Review, code, and route vendor invoices for approval.
• Prepare AP invoices and coordinate vendor payments per terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and selected accounts.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and ERP records for AR/AP activity.
• Assist with general ledger entries related to payroll and accruals.
• Support sales and use tax reporting and audit requests.
