Job summary

D’Asign Source is hiring an Accounting Professional to join our Finance team in Marathon, Florida. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and efficient accounting processes, with opportunities to mentor and take on more responsibilities over time.

The ideal candidate is an experienced staff accountant or a ready-to-grow professional with strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience (Acumatica preferred), and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred (exceptional candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply).
• Experience with ERP systems; Acumatica experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Construction, manufacturing, or project accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments.
• Assist with financial and management reporting.
• Support inventory and project cost tracking.
• Support project accounting, including job cost analysis and contract reporting.
• Analyze project performance and identify cost variances.
• Assist with cash management, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records within Acumatica ERP.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and strengthening internal controls.
• Support audits, tax reporting, and other compliance requirements.
• Cross-train across multiple accounting functions to provide departmental support.
• Participate in special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

D’Asign Source is an award-winning, family-owned design-build firm located in the Florida Keys. For more than 66 years , we have provided architecture, construction, interior design, landscape architecture, and custom fabrication services for luxury residential and commercial projects.

Our accounting team plays a critical role in supporting every phase of our projects; from purchasing through construction, billing, and financial reporting. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an accounting professional who is eager to contribute, expand their responsibilities, and grow with the organization.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Marathon, Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.

Position Summary:We’re seeking an Accounting Professional to join our Finance team. The scope of this role will be based on the experience, strengths, and career goals of the successful candidate.

Whether you are an experienced Staff Accountant looking to take the next step or a seasoned accounting professional ready to contribute at a higher level, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the business.

This role partners closely with project managers, operations, and company leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may also have opportunities to lead initiatives, mentor team members, and assume increasing levels of responsibility within the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include a combination of the following, depending on experience and organizational needs:

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
