Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking an experienced accounting and product-oriented leader to guide accounting practices and software integrations for government-focused projects.

You will collaborate with legal, public policy, business, and operations teams to ensure accurate accounting processes and systems. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders, with emphasis on process improvements and proactive policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in accounting practices.
• Lead and manage the integration of accounting software solutions to improve process efficiency and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth and effective audit logging, system integrations and system monitoring.
• Provide training and support to team members on new software applications and tools.
• Define the direction, scope, and priority of projects from high-level initiatives to features and metrics.
