Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in the Twin Cities metro. This high-visibility leadership role sits in a large Shared Services environment and blends technical accounting with financial analysis, process improvement, and people development within an Order-to-Cash function.

You will lead a growing team, drive month-end close, close collaboration with Finance, Operations, and IT, and build scalable processes while delivering excellent customer service in a hybrid 3-on/2-off onsite

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience as Accounting Manager or leadership in a mid-sized/large organization.
Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.
Experience in Shared Services or Order-to-Cash is preferred.
Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Accounting Operations / Order-to-Cash team.
Oversee invoicing, cash application, customer account support, credits and related accounting activities.
Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
Monitor KPIs and service levels while driving continuous improvement.
Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT to improve processes and customer experience.
Coach and develop team members in a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
