Job summary

CFS in Columbus, OH is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to manage high-volume invoice processing, approvals, and payment workflows across multiple vendors in a fast-paced environment.

You will review transactions for proper coding, documentation, and internal controls while coordinating with leadership and internal stakeholders to support cash planning and treasury activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or financial operations experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, homebuilding, or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, GL coding, and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoice processing, approvals, and payment workflows for a high-volume vendor environment.
• Review financial transactions for proper coding, documentation, and compliance with internal controls.
• Collect, review, and maintain lien waivers and supporting documentation to ensure payment requirements are satisfied prior to fund disbursement.
• Monitor outstanding obligations and provide regular reporting to support cash planning and treasury activities.
• Maintain vendor records, tax documentation, and resolve payment-related inquiries.

$60,000 - $70,000 (+Bonus)
