Job summary

Critical Innovations LLC is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee daily purchasing, accounts payable, corporate card, and expense documentation workflows. The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with department leaders and an external accounting firm to ensure accurate records and support budget development and tracking.

This on-site, full-time position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple processes within government contracting contexts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting operations, AP, or related roles.
• Experience handling invoices, purchase orders, card expenses, and supporting records.
• Proficiency in Excel for data organization, formulas, and reporting.
• Strong communication and ability to follow up on missing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment prep in Bill.com.
• Administer corporate card and expense workflows, including receipts and approvals.
• Maintain government contract bookkeeping and FAR/DCAA documentation.
• Assist in budgeting processes and variance analysis with department leaders.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm to maintain records and compliance.
