• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing, fixed asset accounting, and GAAP principles.
• Experience with standard costing systems and variance analysis preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end close activities for assigned business units, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze COGS, gross margin, manufacturing overhead absorption, and financial trends to identify variances and opportunities.
• Review inventory valuations, standard costs, and manufacturing cost allocations in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation calculations.
• Analyze inventory activity including receipts, production, adjustments, scrap, and rework to ensure accurate financial treatment.

This person will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, month-end close, inventory accounting, and process improvement initiatives.
