Job summary

Liberty Pumps Inc. is seeking an experienced cost accountant to ensure GAAP-compliant general ledger entries, cost accounting for inventory and manufacturing costs, and accurate internal reporting. The role also supports annual audits, SOP creation, and tax reporting while maintaining high confidentiality.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and likely 5+ years of accounting experience, with CPA/CMA preferred but not required. ERP proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years experience in accounting functions preferred.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting transactions to the general ledger following GAAP.
• Support audits, tax filings, and internal reporting processes.
• Serve as a resource for part costs, manufacturing costs, and inventory accounting.
• Provide backup for Controller duties including financial statements, taxes, budgeting, and reconciliations.
• Perform inventory cost roll ups, cost accounting, and tax reporting compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Develop knowledge base for Epicor ERP and accounting software.
