Merit Financial Group in Alpharetta, GA seeks an accomplished Manager of Accounting Operations to lead day-to-day accounting, close processes, and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

You will oversee AP, AR, payroll, GL, and fixed assets while partnering with Finance, Tax, Technology, and Compliance to drive accuracy and efficiency. The role requires a CPA and 10+ years in accounting, with 5+ years in leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger.
• Experience in wealth management or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Experience supporting acquisitions and integrations; ERP familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Director of Technical Accounting to implement policies and controls across departments.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation efforts.
• Lead accounting system enhancements and automation projects.
• Monitor metrics and ensure timely financial reporting.
