Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee monthly close across multiple entities and locations in Alpharetta, GA. The role supports reporting, automation, and internal controls to scale our accounting infrastructure.

Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 plus incentives, with strong emphasis on multi-entity accounting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. CPA is preferred but not required; healthcare exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong operational accounting and month-end close experience.
• Multi-entity and/or multi-site accounting experience required.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite preferred.
• Strong process improvement and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help lead and manage the monthly close process across multiple entities and locations
• Supervise and mentor senior accounting staff
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting deliverables
• Support acquisition integrations and process standardization initiatives
• Assist in building scalable accounting infrastructure and internal controls
• Partner with leadership on reporting, automation, and operational improvements
• Support location-level financial reporting and allocation methodologies
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
