GHJ Search & Staffing has partnered with a well-established consumer goods organization to recruit an Accounting Manager in Alpharetta, GA. This role oversees daily financial operations, monthly close, budgeting, and reporting to leadership.

You will supervise AP/AR, billing, and finance staff, ensure bank reconciliations are accurate, and work with leadership on grant management and internal controls. The role offers a clear path for process improvements and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, accounting activities, and monthly close processes.
• Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and operational reports to leadership.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and finance staff.
• Ensure monthly bank reconciliations and accounting entries are completed accurately and on time.
• Partner with leadership on grant management, reporting, compliance, and fund accounting activities.
• Recommend and implement financial system improvements, internal controls, and staff training initiatives.
