Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. seeks an Accounting Manager to guide the financial operations for a new site in Mendota Heights, MN.

You will partner with site leadership and the Controller to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, robust controls, and insightful financial analysis. You will lead monthly and quarterly closes, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
• CPA or other professional accounting designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions and prepare financial reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, weekly metrics, and other financial results using the Oracle ERP system and other resources.
• Coordinate, review, assemble, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in partnership with the Controller.
• Prepare and interpret financial analysis of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts and present findings to the Controller.
• Partner with Purchasing and other teams to manage capital projects, including ROI analysis and spending reviews.
• Provide backup support across Finance including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and cost accounting.
