Job summary

Addison Group is supporting a rapidly growing beverage manufacturer as it seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting and general ledger operations. You will manage a team of three and work with operations and finance leadership as the company scales.

The role requires hands-on US GAAP knowledge, manufacturing accounting, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing company experience with $300M+ revenue
• Multi-site manufacturing experience; CPG exposure
• 5–7 years accounting experience with US GAAP
• Hands-on standard costing or job costing
• Inventory accounting and cycle counts
• Ownership of the monthly close and general ledger
• Experience supervising accounting staff
• Internal controls, process improvement and documentation experience
• Cloud-based ERP experience and strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the periodic close and oversee general ledger and transactional accounting.
• Manage cost accounting and job costing across multiple production runs.
• Oversee inventory accounting and partner with operations on cycle counts.
• Support annual audits and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Lead and develop a Senior Accountant and two Staff Accountants.
• Partner with finance and operations leadership as the business scales.

Role Overview

A rapidly growing beverage manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting and general ledger operations. This person will manage a team of three and help strengthen controls and processes as the business expands.

Must-Haves

• Accounting experience with a manufacturing company generating at least $300 million in annual revenue
• Multi-site manufacturing experience; CPG experience is relevant
• Approximately 5–7 years of accounting experience and current US GAAP knowledge
• Hands-on standard costing or job costing
• Inventory accounting and cycle counts
• Ownership of the monthly close and general ledger
• Experience supervising or leading accounting staff
