Job summary

Landis+Gyr AG in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Manager, North America Accounting to lead month-end close, reconciliations, and accounting operations for North America, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and SOX controls.

You will oversee intercompany accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, and partner with auditors, while mentoring a team and driving process improvements, automation, and SAP-based implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience managing month-end close in multinational environment preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for North America.
• Review and approve month-end journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee lease accounting per ASC 842 and intercompany accounting across entities.
• Ensure SOX compliance and coordinate internal/external audits.
• Lead and mentor accounting team; establish KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Support SAP-related system implementations and finance transformation initiatives.
