Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp.’s Wyman Gordon ISO Group in Worcester, MA, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead accounting, policy, and financial reporting for three facilities. You will drive close processes, SOX compliance, and internal controls while partnering with operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.

The role oversees AP/AR, balance sheet reconciliations, audits, and consolidation, with a focus on delivering reliable financial information and strategic insight for senior management.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years financial management in public manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
• Experience managing financial operations in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on, proactive leadership with excellent communication and planning skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; SQL knowledge beneficial.
• Syteline ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls across the ISO Group.
• Oversee the SOX compliance program, including control documentation and remediation.
• Manage AP/AR functions and aging reports to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Coordinate internal and external audits as primary liaison.
• Drive process improvements and enhance system capabilities."
• Support monthly consolidation and submissions to division and corporate management.
• Administer financial systems, policies, and procedures to measure operational performance.
