Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Mojave, CA, is seeking an accounting professional to provide comprehensive support for the business unit, safeguarding assets and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role reports to the Controller and covers close, journal entries, budgeting, audits, and SOX controls.

Minimum 1–3 years in manufacturing accounting with a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. Eligible for a quarterly cash bonus; strong Excel skills and attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; 10+ years’ progressive accounting experiência acceptable.
• Minimum 1–3 years of related manufacturing accounting experience.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of GL accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities and audits.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and maintain records.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Forecast monthly and quarterly margins and annual variances.
• Prepare capital expenditure requests and monitor spending.
• Set up customers/vendors and manage inventory adjustments.
• Maintain SOX documentation and support internal controls.
• Cross-train in A/R, A/P, and Payroll to support staff.
