Job summary

Cobalt Service Partners is building a leading commercial access and security integration business in North America and is growing through acquisition. We hire Accounting Managers on an ongoing basis to run accounting operations at our operating companies across the U.S.

This role centers on the monthly close, revenue recognition, and project costing. You will oversee close, reporting, payroll oversight, audits, and a 13-week cash forecast, collaborating with a regional finance team.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the monthly close.
• Strong command of GAAP, with fluency in reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience running close and reporting across multiple entities, branches, or subsidiaries.
• Comfort in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan) with ability to learn new ones.
• Strong Excel and data-modeling skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Close the monthly close and deliver fast, accurate flash reports.
• Manage revenue recognition and job costing for projects; oversee inventory management if applicable.
• Prepare financial packages and variance analysis; manage a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Maintain and improve controls, budgets, KPIs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work with ERP and assist in system implementations and integrations; supervise staff where present.
