Job summary

Century Group is partnering with a client to recruit an Accounting Manager in the Los Angeles area for a contract role. The position offers an hourly pay range of $70.00 to $72.00 per hour and requires strong month-end close and financial reporting capabilities.

The candidate will lead month-end close, maintain GL integrity, monitor inventory accounting, and support audit-ready documentation. Excellent communication with leadership and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience including financial reporting and month end close responsibilities.
• Demonstrate experience with balance sheet reconciliations inventory accounting and general ledger management.
• Possess proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and accounting software applications.
• Maintain the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced and high growth business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month end close activities by reviewing financial transactions and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity through preparation of journal entries account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support inventory accounting by monitoring inventory activity and reconciling financial records with operational data.
• Prepare reports analyses and audit support documentation that assist management and external reviewers.
• Partner with internal teams to improve accounting processes internal controls and financial reporting practices.
