Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to hire an Accounting Manager on a contract-to-hire basis. The role is onsite in Montebello, CA, with a standard 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and a pay range of $50-$60 per hour, DOE.

The candidate will oversee the general ledger, manage monthly and yearly close, mentor a small team, ensure compliant financial reporting, and partner with leadership to drive process improvements using accounting systems and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5-15 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month/year-end close experience
• Prior supervisory or management experience required
• Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred
• Experience with Sage 100 is preferred
• Exposure to or experience using AI tools in a professional setting

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting activities
