Job summary

KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors and equipment, seeks an Accounting Manager to join onsite in Wendell, NC. You will direct the Accounting Department, own the general ledger, and manage monthly and year-end closes for US and Canadian entities.

You will supervise staff, drive the close calendar, prepare consolidated financial statements, and provide reports to the C‑Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA/MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years supervising staff.
• Owner of full monthly and annual close cycles; timely financial statements.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and ability to research non-routine transactions.
• Experience with large ERP systems; SAP and related systems a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; public accounting/foreign-parent experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Korean language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the Accounting Department across GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff; assign and review work and ensure cross-training.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; review and approve entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities and consolidated statements with intercompany and currency translation.
• Own accounting and reporting for the Canadian entity, including cross-border intercompany and CAD translation.
• Deliver timely financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting to the C-Suite.
• Prepare reporting packages and disclosure schedules for parent company and affiliates.
• Establish accounting policies and internal controls; drive ERP improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audit; assist tax filings.
