Job summary

LS Tractor USA LLC in Battleboro, NC is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide accounting support to the Accounting Manager, Controller and CFO. You will prepare journal entries, manage accounts, and assist with audits and tax filings.

The role emphasizes internal controls, month-end close, and collaboration with Corporate HQ. Strong Excel skills and SAP experience are highly valued; Korean language fluency is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting (Finance or Business with accounting emphasis may apply).
• Two years of accounting experience.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Fluency in Korean is strongly preferred.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by analyzing account information.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information accurately.
• Participate in month-end close and ensure timely closing entries.
• Assist with financial audits and coordinate with auditors and tax preparers.
• Process employee expenses and verify submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve AP/AR documents and prepare disbursements as needed.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly tax reports and other statutory filings as required.
• Produce monthly management reports including inventory and receivables aging.
