Job summary

Riddle Tractor, a family-owned equipment dealership serving Winston-Salem and surrounding areas since 1979, seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager to own daily accounting functions, maintain accurate records, and provide reliable financial reporting for management. This hands-on role requires strong accounting fundamentals, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently in a small business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience including general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting; Excel and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reviewing automated transactions and discrepancies.
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Coordinate payroll accounting and support tax reporting requirements.
• Maintain inventory-related accounting records and reconcile transactions.
• Work with outside accountants on tax preparation and compliance.
