Job summary

AMBRION is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Twin Cities metro to lead a seven-person accounting team and own the full close. You will drive modernization, automate reconciliations and journal entries, and move the function toward smarter use of technology and analytics.

The role offers a path to broader finance leadership, exposure to Dynamics 365, Power BI, Copilot, and other automation tools, with a focus on growing the team and evolving processes in a growth-oriented, global organization.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting knowledge across close processes and controls.
• Experience leading or supervising other accounting staff.
• Genuine interest in using technology to improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting close and manage a Senior Accountant plus a six-person operations team (AP, AR, grain accounting).
• Drive modernization: automate reconciliations and journal entries, reduce spreadsheet handoffs, shorten the close.
• Experiment with AI/automation tools to improve efficiency and analytics, e.g., Copilot and related tech.
• Collaborate with IT and finance leadership to expand Dynamics 365/Power BI usage.
• Grow leadership capabilities by managing a larger team and enhancing bench strength.
