AMBRION is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Twin Cities metro to lead a seven-person accounting team and own the full close. You will drive modernization, automate reconciliations and journal entries, and move the function toward smarter use of technology and analytics.
The role offers a path to broader finance leadership, exposure to Dynamics 365, Power BI, Copilot, and other automation tools, with a focus on growing the team and evolving processes in a growth-oriented, global organization.
What if your next Accounting Manager role wasn't just about owning the close—but about helping redefine how the accounting work gets done?
We're partnering with an approximately $850M organization backed by a global parent company that continues to invest in its U.S. growth. They're looking for an Accounting Manager to lead a team of seven while helping move the accounting function toward greater automation, better analytics, and smarter use of technology.
And when we say there is room to grow here, we've seen it firsthand.
The person previously in this position recently moved into FP&A to broaden her experience, and the leader you'll report to is someone Ambrion originally placed who has since been promoted multiple times. We've watched numerous professionals we've placed here continue to be challenged, learn new areas, and advance their careers.
Now they're looking for the next person who wants to do the same.
You’ll own the full accounting close and lead a Senior Accountant plus a six-person accounting operations team spanning AP, AR, and grain accounting. But this isn't a role where leadership wants you to simply maintain what's working today. They want someone curious about what's possible tomorrow.
If you're ready to lead people, own the accounting function, and still be encouraged to ask “Is there a better way to do this?”, this could be a really interesting next step.
We're open to different paths into this opportunity. You don't necessarily need years of Accounting Manager experience already. What matters is a strong accounting foundation, some experience leading or supervising others, and — perhaps most importantly — a genuine interest in using technology to improve how accounting gets done.
Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.
