Job summary

Redwood Logistics LLC is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within our hybrid Chicago office. You will ensure GAAP compliance, manage month-end close, and support audits while aligning with our growth strategy and internal policy changes.

You will supervise payroll, improve processes, and work with leaders on financial planning and operational objectives. A CPA is preferred, with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• CPA preferred or in process.
• Strong Excel proficiency and data analysis skills.
• Experience with large public company controls and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee month-end close.
• Support audits and tax reporting with documentation and reconciliation.
• Assist FP&A with budget and forecasts.
• Maintain accounting records for Mexico Logistics operations.
• Oversee payroll processing and 401k audits.
• Improve accounting processes and automate where possible.
• Communicate with leaders to support operational objectives.
