Job summary

CFS, a well-established manufacturing organization, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and partner with senior leadership. This hands-on role focuses on financial reporting, month-end close, inventory, and internal controls to support growth and international parent company objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• U.S. GAAP knowledge and reconciliations.
• Manufacturing accounting experience including inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience supervising staff and interfacing with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
• Manage AP, AR, and cash applications.
• Oversee inventory accounting, WIP, COGS, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Review bank reconciliations and payroll accounting.
• Strengthen procedures, controls, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure timely reporting to the international parent organization.
• Supervise accounting staff and identify ERP optimization opportunities.
