Job summary

CFS, a global manufacturing organization, seeks an accounting leader to head the function and partner directly with the CFO in Troy, Ohio. This hands-on role drives financial reporting, controls, compliance, and team development across the accounting operation.

You will own the month-end, semi-annual, and year-end close, strengthen internal controls, and standardize procedures. Collaborate with operations, commercial, and global finance on business initiatives to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience and supervisory exposure.
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience required.
• Must have multi-site/location experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and trial balances.
• Oversee month-end, semi-annual, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and internal accounting policies.
• Lead external audit activities and coordinate with tax advisors on income tax compliance and reporting.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff while driving process improvements and internal control enhancements.
