NeuroPace is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in Mountain View, CA. You will oversee general ledger, AP, close processes, and cost accounting, while ensuring GAAP compliance.

The role leverages AI tools to streamline tasks and improve reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, 1-2 years in manufacturing cost accounting, and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (or equivalent certification) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and automate tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable processes and weekly payment runs.
• Support month-end and quarterly close processes.
• Ensure accurate employee reimbursements.
• Develop and maintain standard costs; analyze production costs.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with forecasting, variance analysis, and audits.
• Identify process improvements including AI automation.
• Mentor accounting staff and supervise where needed.
• Handle ad hoc reporting and projects.
