Job summary

Figure, an AI robotics company headquartered in San Jose, CA, is seeking an Accounting Manager focused on inventory. You will own inventory and cost accounting, building processes and deploying systems end to end.

Responsibilities include cost accounting, tracking across materials, WIP and FG, data integrity between NetSuite and MES/PLM/WMS, fixed assets, lease accounting, and readiness for audits. CPA, 8+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years in accounting, including 5+ years in cost and inventory accounting at hardware or manufacturing.
• Deep US GAAP experience for inventory, fixed assets, leases, and R&D vs capitalizable costs.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, especially inventory and manufacturing modules.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting and inventory management across raw materials, subassemblies, WIP, and finished goods.
• Track and reconcile inventory; ensure data integrity between NetSuite and MES/PLM/WMS.
• Maintain cost model with overhead allocation and labor/machine rates.
• Analyze variances and provide insights for margin and COGS reporting.
• Lease and fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, depreciation, and lifecycle.
• Lead end-to-end transaction workflows, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Support external reporting for government grants or incentives and compliance.
