Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Understand the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Ensure timely reporting of all financial information.
• Assist Controller with daily banking requirements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with finance managers to support department goals.
• Monitor work to improve procedures and efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
• Respond to CFO and managers on financial results and reports.
• Assist in new procedures to enhance workflow.
• Provide training to staff as needed.
• Handle personnel issues and staff development progress.
