Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day general ledger activities, assist with month-end close, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.

You will ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP while supporting cash flow objectives and financial reporting. You will collaborate with the tax department and external advisors, maintain internal controls, analyze financial data, and contribute to audits, budgeting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities with journal entries and accruals.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare eliminations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules in the ERP system.
• Conduct operating expenses trend analysis and balance sheet KPI analysis.
• Lead monthly departmental expense forecasts and annual budget preparation.
• Assist treasury with weekly cash management and forecasting.
• Ensure internal controls compliance and support ERP/accounting software upgrades.
