Datavant is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee areas of the general ledger and support a timely close under US GAAP. This hands-on role coordinates with teams and partners with the Senior Accounting Manager to resolve issues and improve processes.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and strong internal controls knowledge. CPA preferred but not required; NetSuite, Google Workspace, and FloQast experience are a plus.

• 6 years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and month-end close.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, including SOX.
• Experience leading close activities and coordinating with teams.

Mansioni

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Review account activity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Set priorities with the Senior Accounting Manager and communicate risks and needs.
• Provide guidance to accounting team members and ensure high-quality work.
• Identify improvements to processes, documentation, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Controllership, audit, and system implementation projects.
