Job summary

The Manager, Corporate Accounting role in Westwood, MA focuses on the accounting function, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and accurate financial results. You will lead day-to-day close activities and coach a team to identify and manage risk while advancing organizational priorities.

You will drive process improvements, oversee reconciliations, and partner with internal customers to deliver timely, accurate reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• CPA preferred.
• 8-10 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least three years in public accounting and/or with a large public company.
• Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Four or more years of experience leading teams to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee close process, analysis, and reconciliations; establish and maintain accounting policies.
• Evaluate transactions for GAAP compliance.
• Assist with interim and year-end external audits and prepare schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet department objectives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices.
• Develop and coach associates to enhance performance and reporting.
