Job summary

47 Brand LLC seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the corporate accounting function in Westwood, MA. The role manages day-to-day accounting, GL activity, reconciliations, and close processes while coaching a team to manage risk and improve procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 8–10 years of experience with strong GAAP knowledge and ERP proficiency, plus leadership experience and CPA consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.
• CPA is preferred and CPA eligibility is valued.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls is essential.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee close process, analysis, and reconciliations and maintain policies.
• Ensure transactions comply with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Assist with interim and year-end audits and prepare schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet department objectives.
• Identify process improvements and drive best practices.
• Guide and develop direct reports and maintain confidential records.
