Job summary

The Wags Club is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the month-end and year-end close, perform journal entries, and analyze general ledger accounts. You will supervise accounting activities under the Controller and ensure GAAP compliance.

The role requires experience with Excel/Word, an ERP system (Costpoint preferred), and knowledge of government and commercial contracts, with travel less than 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• US GAAP proficiency required.
• Experience with a major ERP Financial Management system required (Costpoint preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel and Word required.
• Experience with Government and Commercial Contracts.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and job cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and GL analysis.
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for senior operations personnel.
• Oversee month-end customer invoices and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audit and development of annual budget.
• Oversee state tax filings;Sales and Property Tax returns.
