Hibbett Retail, Inc. seeks an Accounting Manager to support the Accounting Director and the Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable teams. You will manage the fixed asset accounting function, review journal entries and reconciliations, and assist with the monthly and quarterly close across multiple companies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 5–7 years in finance, and preferably a CPA with a Master’s degree. Strong Excel and Workday skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 5–7 years in Finance or related field.
• CPA and Master’s Degree are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting team and oversee timely completion of activities.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for AP, prepaid assets, accruals, and fixed assets across multiple companies.
• Maintain prepaid asset schedules including software subscriptions and contracts.
• Reconcile GRNI balances and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and system implementations or conversions.
