Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets to manage the full lifecycle of the company’s capital assets. You will handle acquisitions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairment, and disposals, while maintaining asset records across subsidiaries and ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance.

You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, CIP tracking, and period-end reporting, supporting audits and improving internal controls across the fixed asset function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Treasury, Financial Operations, or a related field; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records across multiple fascias and subsidiaries.
• Prepare fixed asset journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance for fixed asset activity.
• Maintain CIP records and tracking for capitalization when appropriate.
• Calculate depreciation for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
• Prepare fixed asset reporting and reconcile sub-ledger to GL in Workday.
• Support internal/external audits and internal controls for fixed assets.
