Luminaut is seeking a high-performing Accounting Manager to serve as a key financial leader within the organization and a trusted partner to the CFO. This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function while developing broader financial leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP).
• Experience in project accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and other accounting activity.
• Maintain general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement integrity.
• Review results, investigate variances, and identify emerging risks.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
• Oversee Staff Accountant and provide mentorship and development.
• Coordinate with external accounting, tax, banking, and financial partners.
• Support project forecasting, revenue recognition, and WIP analysis.
• Review client billing for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Identify projects with margin pressure and communicate risks.
