Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end close for assigned business units. This role combines hands-on accounting with people leadership, delivering accurate, timely results in accordance with IFRS and internal controls.

The incumbent partners with FP&A, Tax, and Audit to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and support financial planning and cross-functional initiatives within the Finance Shared

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience, coaching and developing staff.
• Proven leadership experience and strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Coordinate annual audit processes with external auditors.
