Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills.
• Ability to maintain internal controls and accurate financial records.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Accounting Department.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, billing, accounts payable, and inventory control.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare monthly branch and department financial statements and financial reports.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor financial activity for issues.
• Analyze accounting data and provide information and recommendations to management.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls per GAAP.
• Work with department leaders to monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Prepare and file sales, property, mill taxes and licenses.
• Manage fixed asset activity including depreciation and amortization.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
• Support bank and ESOP audits and respond to requests.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to leadership.
• Recruit, train, and develop accounting staff.
